Multi Pump Test Rig
Product Code : LSK-HAP-10581
Multi Pump Test Rig (SKU LSK-HAP-10581) is a mobile, self-contained rig with the services and instrumentation to plot characteristic curves of up to eight pump types at different speeds. Mechanical and chemical engineering labs, polytechnics and TVET institutes use it for fluid machinery practicals. The rig is manufactured by Science Lab Supplies at Plot 448, HSIIDC Industrial Area, Saha, Ambala, India, and institutions, tender contractors and distributors receive their quotations from that factory.
Specifications
For the multi pump rig, the table separates every position, pump option, measurement and software feature. In short, five pump positions, four running together, take a standard centrifugal and gear pump plus six optional types, with electronic measurement of flow, heads and motor torque and pump speed set from a PC.

Applications and Experiments for the Multi Pump Test Rig
The rig lets students compare how rotodynamic and positive displacement pumps respond to head, flow and speed on one installation, which is the heart of pump performance practicals in B.Tech fluid machines labs and useful TVET workshop equipment for pump maintenance training.
- Rotodynamic pumps: flow, power absorbed and efficiency against pressure head and flow.
- Positive displacement pumps: volumetric efficiency against pressure head.
- Effect of suction loss on performance using the upstream control valves, with cavitation visible through the pump window of the Centrifugal Pump Test Set.
- Series and parallel operation with the optional second centrifugal pump, alongside the dedicated Two-Stage Series And Parallel Pumps set.
Standard Scope of Supply
The standard rig is supplied with the centrifugal and gear pumps, electronic instrumentation for flow, heads and torque, and the data logging and educational software. The other six pump types and a volumetric flow measurement system for reciprocating pumps are optional; the PC used to set speeds is not supplied.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
Tell us whether you need the standard rig or a version with extra pumps, and for how many labs. The quotation then sets out packing, delivery time and price for that exact scope and quantity, with any optional pumps itemised.
As a registered exporter with an Importer-Exporter Code, Science Lab Supplies can ship to buyers in Iraq, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia and Tanzania. Mention which optional pumps interest you on the contact page, assemble the rig and options in the enquiry cart, or consult the lab tender page if procurement is by tender.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which pumps come with the rig as standard?
A centrifugal pump and a gear pump. Axial, flexible impeller, turbine, diaphragm, plunger and a second centrifugal pump are available as optional accessories and can be listed on the quotation.
Can pumps be run in series and parallel?
Yes, when the optional second centrifugal pump is fitted. Four of the five pump positions can be active together, and a control valve upstream of each pump, except the axial pump, adjusts suction conditions.
Is Science Lab Supplies the manufacturer of the rig?
Yes. The test rig is manufactured at the company’s Saha, Ambala facility in India; the pumps are fitted into it there, and quotations come from the factory directly.
Is a computer needed?
Yes. A PC, which is not supplied, is used to set pump speeds and run the included data logging software, which also shows a mimic diagram of the selected pumps with their measured and calculated values.
Related Pumps and Fluid Machines
Pump testing connects with drives and data logging, cavitation, single-pump modules and positive displacement units. These items from the hydraulics and fluid mechanics ranges extend the rig into a fluid machines laboratory and can all be priced together with it.
- Computer Interfaced Fluid Machines — sensorless vector drive that measures motor torque, with automatic slip compensation.
- Cavitation Demonstration — flow control valves either side of an acrylic venturi to bring on cavitation.
- Hydraulics Bench — sump and 1 HP pump that recirculate water through bench accessories.
- Variable Speed Series and Parallel Pumps — one variable-speed and one fixed-speed centrifugal pump drawing from an acrylic reservoir.
- Axial Flow Pump Module — pump with fixed and moving bladed sections on a mobile trolley.
- Gear Pump — double gears deliver a set volume of oil per shaft rotation.
