Radial Arm Saw
Product Code : LSK-WWPT-10728
Radial Arm Saw (SKU LSK-WWPT-10728) is a cross-cutting saw whose motor and blade travel along an overhead arm, so long boards stay still on the table while the blade is pulled through them. It is used for square and mitred cross cuts in carpentry, joinery and construction training at ITI, polytechnic and TVET institutes. Science Lab Supplies supplies it from Ambala, India to training centres, tender contractors and distributors.

Applications and Experiments for the Radial Arm Saw
The radial arm saw cuts boards and battens to length and at an angle, which is the first step in framing, furniture and trim work. It suits ITI carpentry and wood-work trades, TVET joinery and construction carpentry modules, and polytechnic workshops where trainees learn repeatable cross cuts on long stock.
- Square cross cuts on boards and battens held against the fence.
- Mitre cuts from 0 to 45 degrees for frames and trim, later fixed with the Nailer Gun.
- Cutting many parts to the same length with a stop block.
- Teaching blade guarding, pull-through technique and use of the brake.
Keep hands well away from the blade path, return the head fully after each cut and run the saw only under supervision with the Universal Dust Collector or other extraction connected.
Standard Scope of Supply
The Radial Arm Saw is supplied as a single machine on its steel floor stand, as described above. Blades in the size you choose, extraction and any other optional accessories are listed separately on the quotation, which also confirms the blade diameter, 10 inch or 12 inch, and the supply voltage.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
Quotations can be prepared for one saw or for a full carpentry workshop, stating the packing, delivery time and price for the quantity requested. Other TVET workshop equipment, such as panel saws or dust collectors, can go on the same quotation.
As a registered exporter with an Importer-Exporter Code, Science Lab Supplies can ship to buyers in South Africa, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia and Peru. Frequently Asked Questions
What blade sizes does it take?
The saw is offered for 10 inch (254 mm) and 12 inch (305 mm) blades. The larger blade gives a deeper cut; state which you need when you enquire.
Can it run on 230 V, 50 Hz mains?
The rating given for this saw is single phase, 115 V, 60 Hz. Tell us your local supply, and the quotation will confirm the voltage of the machine offered or any transformer required.
Who supplies the Radial Arm Saw?
This saw is supplied by Science Lab Supplies from Ambala, India, to ITIs, polytechnics, TVET centres, tender contractors and distributors, and it can share a quotation with blades, extraction and other wood workshop machines.
Why is the blade brake useful in training?
The automatic brake stops the blade soon after switch-off, so the head is not returned over a coasting blade. This reduces risk when trainees are learning the machine.
