Light Ray Reflection Demonstrator
Product Code : SCL-LAO-12089
Light Ray Reflection Demonstrator (SKU SCL-LAO-12089) is a 350 mm circular steel tracking board with a 360° scale and magnetic plane and curved mirrors, used to show the laws of reflection with a laser or ray box. Teachers set it up for Class 7–10 science and Class 12 ray-optics lessons where the whole group must see the beam. Science Lab Supplies fabricates the demonstrator at its Saha, Ambala factory (Plot 448, HSIIDC Industrial Area, India) and offers it directly to schools, colleges, training institutes and dealers.
Specifications
Here every specification of the reflection demonstrator is listed separately. In short, a powder-coated carbon steel disc with a white matte face carries a 1° angular scale, while magnetic acrylic mirrors in plane, concave and convex profiles sit on it and an outer rail holds the external light source.

Applications and Experiments for the Reflection Demonstrator
With a mirror at the centre of the dial and a beam sent along a chosen angle, students read the incident and reflected angles straight off the scale. The matte face scatters part of the beam, so the ray stays visible in normal room light without darkening the class.
- Class 7–8 and Class 10 science: angle of incidence equals angle of reflection at a plane mirror, using a beam from the Five-Diode Laser Ray Box.
- Class 10 and 12 physics: locating the focus and centre of curvature of a concave cylindrical mirror.
- Showing how a convex surface spreads rays, before measuring a glass Convex Mirror Optical on a bench.
Never look into the output of a laser source; keep laser demonstrations under teacher supervision.
Standard Scope of Supply
The demonstrator comes with the main tracking board assembly, one magnetic plane mirror, one magnetic concave/convex combination mirror, a vertical object needle marker and a user manual with experiment templates. The laser or ray box light source is not included and can be quoted separately.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
Pricing can be prepared for one demonstrator for the teacher's bench or several boards for group work. Science Lab Supplies gives packing, delivery time and price for the quantity in each quotation, and a laser ray box can be included on the same document.
An Importer-Exporter Code allows Science Lab Supplies to ship to buyers in Bangladesh, Zambia, Rwanda, South Africa, Qatar and Sri Lanka. Write to the sales desk from the contact page, shortlist the board in the enquiry cart, or open the lab tender page when buying through a tender.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the beam be seen without darkening the room?
Yes. The white matte enamel face scatters a small part of the grazing beam, so the ray line shows clearly to a group of students under normal classroom lighting.
Are the mirrors breakable?
No. All mirror elements are vacuum-metallised acrylic rather than glass, so they do not shatter if dropped, and magnetic backing keeps them flat on the steel panel during the lesson.
Does the demonstrator need electricity?
The board itself is passive and needs no power. It works with an external laser or ray box, and its outer rail accepts most educational three-beam or five-beam laser modules.
Is Science Lab Supplies the manufacturer or a trader?
Science Lab Supplies is the manufacturer of this board. It is fabricated at the company's factory in Saha, Ambala, which also prepares the quotation, so no agent stands between the school and the maker.
