Applications and Experiments for the Masonry Saw
In a construction workshop the saw lets trainees cut bricks, blocks, stone, tiles and slabs to size for walling, paving and tiling exercises. The sliding carriage and angle device give straight and angled cuts, and water cooling keeps dust down while protecting the diamond blade.
- ITI Mason (Building Constructor) trade: cutting bricks and blocks for bonding practice.
- TVET building construction and tiling modules: cutting tiles and slabs to fit, with levels set out using a Water Level.
- Polytechnic civil engineering workshops: preparing stone and block samples for strength testing on a Motorized Compression/Tension Machine.
- Short courses on safe operation of site cutting machinery.
This is a powered cutting machine with a rotating blade. Trainees should use it only under supervision, with eye, ear and hand protection, guards in place and the emergency switch within reach.
Standard Scope of Supply
The saw is supplied as one machine with its sliding carriage, water cooling pump, pedal control, cutting-angle device, emergency switch and height-adjusting beam. Diamond blades are listed in 350, 400 and 450 mm sizes; the blades included are stated on the quotation.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
You can request a quotation for a single saw or for a full set of workshop tools for technical training institutes. The quotation shows packing, delivery time and price for the quantity you need, and spare blades or other construction tools can be added.
As a registered exporter with an Importer-Exporter Code, Science Lab Supplies can ship to buyers in Iraq, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia and Tanzania. To get the masonry saw quoted, send a message from the contact page or add it to the enquiry cart; the lab tender page is for tender purchasing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What materials can this saw cut?
It is intended for small to medium building materials such as bricks, rocks, blocks, tiles and slabs, up to 120 mm thick and 500 mm long.
What power supply does it need?
It needs a 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz single-phase supply, and the machine is rated at 2200 W. The water cooling circulation pump and pedal control are fitted to the machine itself.
Who supplies the Saw?
Science Lab Supplies supplies it from Ambala, India to ITI, TVET and technical training institutes, tender contractors and distributors, and can list spare diamond blades or other construction tools on the same quotation.
Which blade sizes fit?
The saw takes discs up to 450 mm, and diamond blades of 350, 400 and 450 mm are listed as accessories. State the sizes you need when enquiring so they are quoted with the machine.
