Gas Welding Equipment
Product Code : LSK-WEAWLM-10677
Gas Welding Equipment (SKU LSK-WEAWLM-10677) is an oxy-fuel set for joining, brazing and heating metal with a gas flame instead of an electric arc. It is versatile, self-sufficient and usually portable, with lower equipment and maintenance cost than most other welding processes, which is why it remains a core item in welding and automotive repair training. Science Lab Supplies supplies it from Ambala, India to training institutes, colleges, contractors and distributors.
Specifications
Every technical detail of the set is listed in the table below. In short, it burns acetylene, hydrogen or methylacetylene-propadiene with oxygen to produce the welding flame, needs no electrical supply, is self-sufficient and usually portable, and suits automotive body fabrication and repair rather than heavy sections.

Applications and Experiments for the Gas Welding Equipment
Gas welding sets are used to teach flame setting, fusion welding of thin steel sheet, brazing and heating for bending. Trainees also compare it with arc welding: the flame is cooler than an arc and heats and cools the metal more slowly, which suits thin sheet and repair work but not heavy sections.
- ITI Welder trade: flame types, edge preparation and gas welding of sheet joints with the blowpipes of the Oxy-Acetylene Equipment.
- Automotive body repair courses: panel fabrication and repair, with sheet cut on the Manual Hand Shear.
- Engineering workshop practice: comparing gas welding with arc welding on the ARC Welding Transformer.
Fuel gases and oxygen demand careful handling and storage, and some brazing fluxes give off fumes that irritate the eyes, nose, throat and lungs. Use the set only in a ventilated area under instructor supervision.
Standard Scope of Supply
The Gas Welding Equipment is supplied as described above; the items that make up the set you order are listed on the quotation. Oxygen and fuel gases, and their cylinders, are separate consumables that are not included; protective wear can be added as separate lines.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
Request a quotation for one gas welding set or for several work stations. The quotation gives the packing, delivery time and price for that quantity, and arc welding machines or protective wear for the same TVET workshop equipment list can be added to it.
As a registered exporter with an Importer-Exporter Code, Science Lab Supplies can ship to buyers in Saudi Arabia, Oman, the Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh and Zambia. A quotation for the oxy-fuel set can be requested from the contact page or built up in the enquiry cart, and the lab tender page is there for tender enquiries.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which fuel gases can be used?
The listed fuels are acetylene, hydrogen and methylacetylene-propadiene, each burned with oxygen. Acetylene with oxygen is the standard pairing for fusion welding of steel sheet and repair work.
Are gas cylinders included?
No. Oxygen, fuel gas and cylinders are not included and can be sourced locally, then stored, moved and connected only under your gas supplier's safety rules.
Who supplies the Gas Welding Equipment?
Science Lab Supplies supplies it from Ambala, India with its arc, MIG and TIG welding machines and other workshop equipment for vocational training. One quotation can cover the set and its safety wear.
What metals should not be gas welded?
Refractory and reactive metals cannot be gas welded, and heavy sections are not economical to join this way. Arc processes are used for those jobs.
