Applications and Experiments for the Human Torso with Head Model
The torso lets students see where the main organs of the chest and abdomen sit relative to one another and to the head, then take parts out and name them with the key card. It is one of the core biology models for schools and supports anatomy teaching from secondary level to nursing training.
- Class 10 and 11 biology: locating the organs of the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems in the body cavity.
- Nursing and allied-health foundation courses: surface landmarks and organ positions before detailed system study.
- Organ follow-up: studying single organs in more detail with the Kidney With Adrenal Model and the 6-part Human Eye Model.
- Revision and assessment: students identify numbered parts against the key card.
Lift parts out and replace them with both hands, and keep the key card with the model so each structure can always be checked.
Standard Scope of Supply
The model is supplied as a half-size, 7-part human torso with head, hand painted and mounted on its stand, together with the identification key card. Other organ models and anatomy charts are not part of the set, but they can be added as separate items on the same quotation.
