Plastic Cylinder

Product Code : SCL-CL-11887

Plastic Cylinder (SKU SCL-CL-11887) is a plastic cylindrical vessel listed for use in various demonstration experiments in the school laboratory. Being plastic rather than glass, it is lighter and less likely to break when handled by younger students during liquid demonstrations. Science Lab Supplies offers it from Ambala, India to schools, colleges, training institutes, tender contractors and distributors as part of its general laboratory range.

Specifications

The item is a cylinder made of plastic, intended for general laboratory and demonstration use. The listing does not give a capacity, height, diameter or graduation, so these details are confirmed on the quotation for the model you are offered, allowing you to check it against your requirement before ordering.

Applications and Experiments for the Plastic Cylinder

A plastic cylinder is a general-purpose vessel for classroom demonstrations that involve holding, pouring or observing liquids, where an unbreakable container is more practical than glass. Teachers use such vessels in CBSE/NCERT middle-school science activities and in junior practical sessions where students handle apparatus themselves.

• Holding water for floating-and-sinking and displacement activities in Class 6–8 science.
• Serving as a container for mixing and observing liquids in simple demonstrations.
• Use by younger students where glass vessels would be a breakage risk.

Standard Scope of Supply

The Plastic Cylinder is supplied as a single unit as described above; any optional accessories and the exact size are listed on the quotation. If you need a graduated vessel for measuring volume, mention this so a suitable measuring cylinder can be offered instead.

Packing, MOQ and Lead Time

Request a price for a single cylinder or for a set covering every student group, and the quotation will list the packing, delivery time and price for that quantity. Measuring cylinders, stands and other plasticware can be quoted on the same document.

As an exporter registered under an Importer-Exporter Code, Science Lab Supplies can ship to buyers in Saudi Arabia, Oman, the Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh and Zambia. Send requirements via the contact page or the enquiry cart, and check the lab tender page when buying for a tender.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the Plastic Cylinder?
The listing does not state a capacity or dimensions. Please ask through the contact page, and the quotation will state the size of the cylinder offered.

Is the cylinder graduated for measuring volume?
The listing does not mention graduations. For accurate volume measurement, a graduated measuring cylinder is the right item and can be quoted alongside.

Who supplies the Plastic Cylinder?
It comes from Science Lab Supplies in Ambala, India, which quotes schools, colleges and contractors for single items or complete chemistry lab equipment in India lists.

Why choose plastic instead of glass?
Plastic vessels are lighter and far less likely to shatter if dropped, which makes them practical for demonstrations handled by younger students.

Related Cylinders and Liquid Demonstration Apparatus

These items sit alongside a plastic cylinder in liquid-handling and fluid demonstrations: one measures volume accurately, one stores cylinders upright, and two show fluid principles that use a vessel of water. They can all be listed on one enquiry.

• Volume Measuring Cylinder — for measuring liquid volumes.
• Stand for Cylinders (Test Tube Rack) — keeps cylinders upright on the bench.
• Archimedes Bucket — buoyancy and displacement demonstrations.
• Communicating Vessels — shows equal liquid levels in connected tubes.
