Product Code : SCL-CL-11528
Glass Bottle, Wide Mouth (SKU SCL-CL-11528) is a 60 ml colourless glass bottle with a wide neck and a frosted stopper, listed for holding liquid reagents. The broad opening makes it quick to fill, pour from and clean, so chemistry teachers and laboratory assistants use it for bench stocks in schools and colleges. Science Lab Supplies, working from Ambala, India, supplies it to schools, colleges, laboratories, tender contractors and distributors.
Specifications
The bottle is a clear, colourless glass body with a wide mouth sealed by a frosted stopper. Its capacity is 60 ml, and the listing describes it as suitable for chemical reagents and heat resistant. The wide neck is its main difference from the narrow-mouth reagent bottle in the same range.

Applications and Experiments for the Wide Mouth Glass Bottle
A wide-mouth bottle is chosen when a reagent has to be filled or poured quickly, or when a dropper, spatula or glass rod must reach inside. Schools use it for bench reagents in Class 9–10 science and Class 11–12 chemistry, and colleges keep it on B.Sc. practical shelves for frequently refilled solutions.
- Class 9–10 science: holding solutions for simple tests on acids, bases and salts.
- Class 11–12 chemistry: bench stocks for titration and salt analysis practicals.
- B.Sc. chemistry: reagent bottles that are easy to clean between different solutions.
Standard Scope of Supply
The item is one 60 ml colourless wide-mouth glass bottle with its frosted stopper, exactly as specified above. Reagents and labels are not part of the supply. Order the number of bottles your benches need and the quotation will show that quantity.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is a wide-mouth bottle better than a narrow-mouth one?
Pick the wide mouth when the bottle is refilled often, needs thorough cleaning, or when a dropper or rod has to go inside. A narrow neck gives a finer pour and less evaporation.
What size is this bottle?
It has a capacity of 60 ml, which keeps a small working quantity of each reagent on the bench.
Where does this bottle come from and who supplies it?
Science Lab Supplies supplies the bottle from Ambala, India, and sends quotations straight to schools, colleges, contractors and distributors for the quantity they request.
Is an amber version available?
Yes. The range also lists a Glass Bottle, Wide Mouth (Amber) for liquids that should be kept away from light; both can go on one quotation.
Related Reagent Bottles
Laboratories rarely buy one bottle style alone. These four items complete a bench reagent set with the wide-mouth bottle, giving an amber wide-mouth option, a narrow-mouth bottle for fine pouring, a dropper bottle for indicators and stoppered colourless bottles for reactants.
- Glass Bottle, Wide Mouth (Amber) — the same neck style in coloured glass.
- Glass Bottle, for Liquid Reagents — narrow-mouth bottle for a controlled pour.
- Glass Bottle, with Dropper 60ml — for indicators added drop by drop.
- Bottles of Colorless Glass with Stoppers for Reactants — stoppered bottles for reactant stocks.
