Digital Hydraulic Bench
Product Code : LSK-FM-10465
Digital Hydraulic Bench (SKU LSK-FM-10465) is a mobile, self-contained water bench that supplies a controlled, measured flow to a wide variety of fluid mechanics experiment modules. Engineering colleges and polytechnics use it as the central service unit of a hydraulics laboratory. Built at Plot 448, HSIIDC Industrial Area, Saha, Ambala, India, the bench is manufactured by Science Lab Supplies and sold directly to institutions, tender contractors and distributors.
Specifications
The body of the bench forms a sump tank with a submersible pump, so once filled it needs no external water supply. An electronic flowmeter on the pump outlet drives a digital flow display, a hand valve sets the flow, and the worktop carries one experiment module inside a rim that contains spills.

Applications and Experiments for the Digital Hydraulic Bench
The bench is the water source and flow reference for bench-top fluid mechanics lab experiments: modules for pipe losses, Bernoulli's theorem, notches, orifices and jet impact sit on its worktop, while larger experiments stand beside it. It serves B.Tech/B.E. civil and mechanical labs and diploma hydraulics practicals.
- Supplying and measuring flow for pipe-friction and minor-loss experiments.
- Feeding Venturi, orifice and notch modules for discharge-coefficient practicals.
- Providing a steady jet supply for impact-of-jet and turbine experiments.
Standard Scope of Supply
The bench is supplied as one mobile unit: the sump-tank body with sight gauge, submersible pump, flow control valve, electronic flowmeter, the side electrical box with pump switch, circuit protection and digital display, and the rimmed worktop with trough and drain valve. Experiment modules are separate items and are quoted individually.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
Ask for a quotation for one bench or several for parallel student groups; it sets out packing, delivery time and price for the number you need. Experiment modules can go on the same quotation.
Science Lab Supplies holds an Importer-Exporter Code and can ship to buyers in Qatar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia, Peru and Egypt. For a quotation, write to us through the contact page or add items to the enquiry cart; tender buyers can also use the lab tender page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the bench need a mains water connection?
No. The body of the bench is its own sump tank with a submersible pump, so once it has been filled it needs no external water supply. A sight gauge shows the water level in the tank.
How is the flow rate measured?
An electronic flowmeter measures the outlet flow from the submersible pump and sends its signal to a digital display in the electrical box. The display is angled for easy reading by a standing user.
Can the bench be moved between rooms?
Yes. It runs on four wheels, and two of them have foot-operated locks to hold the bench in position during experiments. Switch off the pump before moving it.
Is Science Lab Supplies the manufacturer or a trader?
Science Lab Supplies manufactures the bench itself in Saha, Ambala, India. Buyers deal with the factory directly for specification and quotation.
Related Hydraulic Bench Modules
Each module below stands on the bench worktop and draws on its pump and flowmeter. Ordered with the bench, they form a working fluid mechanics teaching set, and colleges sourcing engineering lab equipment in India can place bench and modules on one quotation.
- Pipework Energy Losses — plastic-pipe circuit with bends and an expansion–contraction.
- Bernoulli's Theorem — Venturi tube with a bank of water manometer tubes.
- Discharge Over a Notch — two V-notch weirs and a rectangular notch weir.
- Impact of a Jet — weigh beam that measures the force of a water jet on test plates.
