Plastic Vessel with Side Arm
Product Code : SCL-PL-12405
Plastic Vessel with Side Arm (SKU SCL-PL-12405) is a transparent, graduated 500 ml plastic vessel with a side tube for physics and general science benches. The side tube gives an outlet for liquid, which can be used in displacement and overflow activities, while the graduations give quick volume readings. Science Lab Supplies manufactures it in Saha, Ambala, India (Plot 448, HSIIDC Industrial Area) and supplies schools, colleges, tender contractors and distributors directly.
Specifications
The vessel is made of transparent, chemical-resistant plastic with a 500 ml capacity and graduations on the body, so students can see the liquid level and read volumes directly. A side tube provides an outlet from the vessel for collecting liquid in a separate container during an experiment.

Applications and Experiments for the Plastic Side-Arm Vessel
In physics and general science practicals the vessel can serve as a displacement container: liquid pushed out through the side tube is collected and measured to find the volume of an immersed solid or the amount of liquid displaced. Its graduations and clear walls also make it a handy general measuring vessel.
- Class 9 science (NCERT): buoyancy and Archimedes' principle using displaced liquid.
- Class 6–8 science: measuring the volume of irregular solids by displacement.
- General laboratory use: holding and dispensing liquids in a chemical-resistant container.
Standard Scope of Supply
The Plastic Vessel with Side Arm is supplied as a single transparent 500 ml graduated vessel with its side tube, as described above. A beaker or measuring cylinder to collect the outflow, and any solids for immersion, are separate items that can be added to the same quotation.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
Quantities from a single vessel to a full class set can be quoted, and each Science Lab Supplies quotation shows the packing, delivery time and price for the number requested. Measuring cylinders, spring balances and other physics lab equipment in India can be added so the displacement bench is quoted as one.
Science Lab Supplies is able to ship to buyers in Peru, Egypt, Iraq, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana, as it holds an Importer-Exporter Code. Reach the team from the contact page, gather items in the enquiry cart, or see the lab tender page for tender-based buying.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the capacity of this vessel?
The vessel holds 500 ml. It is transparent and graduated, so the liquid level and volume can be read directly, and the plastic it is made from is chemical resistant.
What is the side arm used for?
The side arm is a tube that provides an outlet from the vessel. Liquid leaving through it can be collected in a beaker or cylinder, for example to measure the volume displaced by an immersed object.
Is Science Lab Supplies the manufacturer or a trader?
Science Lab Supplies is the maker of this vessel, not a reseller. It is produced at the company's factory in Saha, Ambala, India, and quotations are issued from there.
How does it differ from the Plastic Cylindrical Vessel?
Both are 500 ml, transparent, graduated and chemical resistant. The difference is the side tube on this vessel, which gives an outlet for displaced liquid; the Plastic Cylindrical Vessel suits work where a plain container is enough.
Related Measuring Vessels and Displacement Apparatus
A displacement experiment needs a vessel, something to collect and measure the liquid, and a way to relate the result to buoyancy or density. The four items below fill those roles and can be quoted together with the side-arm vessel on a single request from the Physics Lab range.
- Plastic Cylindrical Vessel — 500 ml graduated container.
- Plastic Graduated Cylinder — 100 ml cylinder for measuring collected liquid.
- Archimedes' Principle Demonstration Set — buoyancy experiments.
- Apparatus for Measuring the Density of Solids — density practicals.
