Applications and Experiments for the Cylinder Trolley
The trolley lets staff move a gas cylinder from the operation room to the ward, or from one place to another, and then leave it standing beside the patient. As hospital lab equipment it serves wards and theatres, and in nursing colleges it supports oxygen-therapy practice on demonstration beds.
- B.Sc. Nursing and GNM practicals: oxygen administration on a demonstration bed, with the cylinder on the trolley and a Nasal Oxygen Catheter as the patient interface.
- Patient transfer: moving a cylinder from the room with the Screw Type Operation Table back to the ward.
- Ward use: keeping a cylinder stationed beside a Hospital Fowler Bed.
- Medical stores: moving full and empty cylinders between the store and the wards.
Gas cylinders are under high pressure. Seat the cylinder on the base, keep the valve closed while moving it, and follow your gas supplier's handling rules under trained supervision.
Standard Scope of Supply
The cylinder trolley is supplied as one unit: the tubular MS framework, its two castors and the welded MS strip base. The oxygen cylinder and its regulator come from your medical gas supplier; tell us the cylinder you use when enquiring so that it can be noted on the quotation.
Packing, MOQ and Lead Time
A quotation can be prepared for a single trolley or for one per ward and theatre. Science Lab Supplies confirms the packing, delivery time and price for that quantity on the quotation, and stretchers, beds or IV stands for the same project can be quoted at the same time.
Registered with an Importer-Exporter Code, Science Lab Supplies is able to ship to buyers in Vietnam, Malaysia, Peru, Egypt, Iraq and Nigeria. Requests can be sent via the contact page or built up in the enquiry cart, while the lab tender page explains how tenders are handled.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a Cylinder Trolley the same as an oxygen cylinder stand?
Yes. The trolley is also known as an oxygen cylinder stand, because it can be stationed in one place near the patient's bed or in the room, as well as wheeled between rooms.
How is the trolley built?
It has a tubular framework of mild steel with two castors, and the cylinder sits on a base made of welded MS strips. Share your cylinder size when you enquire so it can be checked against the trolley.
Is the oxygen cylinder part of the order?
The quotation covers the trolley. Cylinders, oxygen and regulators are obtained from a medical gas supplier, so plan them separately when you set up a ward or skills lab.
Who supplies the Cylinder Trolley?
Cylinder trolleys are sourced by Science Lab Supplies in Ambala, Haryana, India, whose team prepares the quotation and packing and can send them together with stretchers or beds in one consignment.
